Sharing files over the Internet is quite easy nowadays. You can find a wide range of P2P applications, which enable you to share any kind of data or find and download something that may interest you. They are quite useful, but there is still plenty of room for improvements. Gygan offers an excellent solution for exchanging files over the Internet. It provides you with the latest uploads and a handy search function, so you can find specific items right away.

The software is free, but you need to pay a monthly subscription if you want a larger bandwidth. You can download Gygan's setup file and install its components in a few moments, without making any settings regarding your Internet connection. Once installed, you must create and confirm a free online account.

Once you log into Gygan, you will find the available downloads on the main interface. They are organized in different categories, depending on their age. You can access recently uploaded files, uploads that are 7 or 30 days old or "new and hot" uploads. It is also possible to filter the files, to show only videos, adult contents or others. Each file is listed with a series of details, like size, when it was uploaded, quality and more. If you are not sure about a certain file, you may click different icons, next to its name, to see pictures or comments.

As previously stated, you can use a search function as well. Just type in your keywords in the upper right corner of the interface and the application will display the results right away. If you find what you are looking for, you can start downloading, by clicking a Download button, next to the listed file. Additional details about the file can be accessed on the same window, by clicking a hyperlink. If your Internet connection is fast enough, you can stream and play videos on your computer, while they are being downloaded.

Downloads and uploads are listed in separate sections, on the same interface. To upload one or more files, you just need to fill in a series of input fields and click a few check boxes or radio buttons, depending on your needs. You can target your files by dragging and dropping them to a certain area, in the Upload section, where you can also name your upload, add descriptions, feeds, specify if you are uploading adult content or if your upload contains screenshots. It is also possible to set your upload to public or private. If you want to share your files only with friends, you just need to click a radio button.
